Privacy Policy

The short version: your money data is yours. We store it to advise you, protect it carefully, and never sell it.

What we collect

Account details: your name, email address, and password (stored as a one-way hash by our authentication service).
Money information you enter: budgets, savings goals and contributions, income and essential costs, and business cash and tax profiles. Bank balances, transactions and do-not-touch alert examples currently use fictional sample data; live bank connections are not enabled.
Advisor conversations: questions and answers are saved for your chat history. Separately, the advisor may save short facts about goals or preferences for future answers. You can delete history and saved memories separately from the Membership screen.
Technical data: device type, app version, and basic usage events (for example, daily active use) so we can keep the service working and improve it.

We never sell your personal or financial data to anyone. This is a permanent commitment, not a policy we can revise later.
We never use your conversations to advertise to you.
We share information needed to operate the service with hosting, authentication, transcription, speech and AI providers. Their applicable terms and retention policies govern their processing; provider agreements and jurisdiction-specific disclosures require final review before commercial launch.

All traffic is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS). Data is stored at rest in an encrypted cloud database.
Access is enforced row by row: your financial records are visible only to your authenticated account. Authorized operations staff can view member names, email addresses and activity counts for support and service operation. The operations screen does not display conversation text; privileged infrastructure administrators may access records for maintenance and security.
AI features run on our servers — your data is never sent from your browser directly to an AI provider, and API credentials never touch your device.

Delete advisor memories and chat history any time from the Membership screen — removal from active app records is immediate; provider logs and backups follow their retention policies.
Delete your account from Privacy & account in the signed-in menu. This removes your sign-in and personal app records; anonymized commission accounting may remain. Backups and provider logs follow their retention policies.
Export your account records from Privacy & account. The Taxes screen also provides an accountant organizer packet.
You can decline voice features; the microphone is active between tapping Record and Stop. Audio is sent to the transcription service; the app does not store the recording. Provider logs and retention are subject to their policies.

Wealth Guardian is not directed to children under 13 (16 in the EEA), and we do not knowingly collect their data.

If this policy changes materially, we will notify you in the app before the change takes effect.
Use Privacy & account to export or delete your records. A verified support contact and final legal company details must be established before commercial launch.
